Welcome to OpP3D – a Cornet Project


Project Overall Goals

 

  • Enable the efficient use of the Cu, Fe and Al in Laser Beam Melting (LBM)
    and 
    3D-Printing of Metallic Powders (M3DP)
  • Improve the processability of Cu in LBM and Fe/Al in M3DP processes, using surface modification (e.g. application of a protective layer) and consequently
  • Improve the quality of built parts in terms of density, surface roughness, strength, etc.
  • At a reasonable market-oriented price
