3D X-ray computed tomography

With 3D X-ray computed tomography, fem provides customers from industry and research with a material inspection method that enables non-destructive and three-dimensional detection and characterization of objects of any complexity from all material classes with all geometric and material-related structures.

The fem's range of services is aimed at the automotive and electronics industries, medical, plastics and energy technology companies, the aerospace industry and foundries. Objects made of metal alloys, light and heavy metals, high-performance ceramics, plastics and composites, biocompatible materials, building materials and textiles are analyzed.

The fem has two CT systems–phoenix vtomexL 450 (Micro-CT) and phoenix nanotom m 180 (Nano-CT)–for a variety of industrial, scientific and archaeological applications.

Call us today, write to us or visit us in Schwäbisch Gmünd, we look forward to working with you.
